Interview  with  East life Hong Kong Band

# This interview was taken with East Life Bass Guitarist On the day of 8th May 2006 wanchai at pacific coffee the time was around 11:30 AM .We had the latte and had a talk with Raju who is actively in music scenery in Hong Kong. The East life has been a long way in Hong Kong they have preserve the culture and involve in many concerts, charities and has been devoted the music. I am thankful Raju and the Band members to meet and write something that the music lover is really want to know about them.

# When was the East Life Band Established and when was the first show you played?

The band was Established On 1996 and our first concert was the Feona Far East Overseas Nepalese Association Annual cultural show at Lot Sau Hall Hongkong

# Who were your band member at that time?

Arjun Pakhrin,(Drum) Jeevan Rai (Guitar)Yadav Rai (L.guitar) Manoj ghale (Keyboard) Raju(Bass)

# So are u still actively in the Music, so can you tell us some of the concerts you back up with?

We did a lot, among them were singer Suresh kumar chetri ,Lochan bhattarai,Pavitra subba,Prakhas Shrestha,Nima rumba,Vivek shrestha,Kamal man singh,Anil singh,Sabin Rai,Poonam Singh and most of all Local singers.

# So do you face any difficulties between these periods and any lesson do you want to say to the new generation hope of musicians?

In a little time we had to get prepared and do professionally to the Audience and for the new generation whatever the soul of music pop, rock it’s should be the disciplinary of music and be professional prepare when being on stage, they should learn co-operate in the band and Combination which will lead to the successful musician. Be organized and confidence.

# So any remarkable memory in band so you still think it was awesome?

The first show Fiona was remarkable totally from the Hong Kong local artist and audience would hardly get a seat and cheered the whole program. It was awesome we thought we are outstanding.

# So what did you perform at that time in the Feona cultural show?

We perform with varieties of songs Pop, Rock Hindi songs, dance and comedian drama by Jhattaro.

# Who does the band tech mostly ?
Mostly I do myself and also we co-operate with ourselves in our band.


# So at last but not at the least can you say something from your band and from yourself to the grown up community of Nepalese music lover all over the world ?
Whatever wherever we go we should Respect and preserve our music and culture so one day we can deliver our music and culture Internationally.
