WELCOME TO THE LOOZA |
| BAND HISTORY |
|
Playing music at various colleges and pubs around the
Kathmandu Valley , the band named themselves as "LOOZA:" for the
show at Nation Academy Hall organised by Allaince Francaise in
1997, June 21st. ( International Music Day ).
The under ground band perfoming at local scene met Robin
Tamang (vocals) and named themselves as " ROBIN N' LOOZA:" in
1998.
Released an album " NEPAL " in 1999. Topped the Nepali Music
Charts for six months and stayed on it for a year. All royalties
from the sale of the album ( cassettes ) were donated to ARUN
THAPA FUND FOUNDATION.
Released 2nd album " ADHUNIK AAGAN MA " in 2001. Stayed on
the charts for 3 months.
Toured Hong Kong in 2002.
Released 3rd album " BHOOL MA BHULYO " in 2003. Topped the
charts for three months and stayed on it for six months.
Disbanded with Robin Tamang in 2004.
Teamed up with Lochan Rijal (vocals) in 2005.
Recently working on an album.
